About Me
I'm a professional dj and artist, photography is a serious love that supplements other facets of my creative work, and is supplemented by them. I'm also an events producer (wedding, corporate), nightclub promoter and musician/producer/remixer. I do this because I can... I'm a studio-trained, published freelancer available for commissioned work, and I'm on MM to connect with interesting people doing interesting things.
Some of my old silver gelatin work can be seen at my original 2005 MM profile, #11456. Some of my work is currently published on Suicide Girls. My silver gelatin work was widely exhibited around the northeast and central US, including shows in such legendary venues as ManRay (Boston), Pan9 (Boston), and CBGB's 313 Gallery (NYC). Recent exhibits have included the Stroudsburg PA School of Visual and Performing Arts, Soho in the Burg, Origins Gallery and the Living Room at the Sherman Theater. I shot David Rosen's controversial Reason8 concept line, which included the famous "Got Democracy?" t-shirts. I have curated art shows at events like the Black Sun Music Festival (New Haven) and the Fetish Fair Fleamarket (Boston), and at nightclub events like the Wicked party, Ceremony and Haven. Local features regarding and including my photography and artwork have been published in the Boston Globe, Boston's Weekly Dig, and the Boston Phoenix among others. My work has been more widely distributed via magazines like "Gazelland" (NYC club fashion), a Dresden Dolls songbook, and as elements for the cover art of "the Book of Mischief" by Steve Stern (Graywolf Press). My SHOW Circus School photos have been used in conjunction with numerous articles in the Valley Advocate, Hampshire Gazette, and other regional papers. My images have been published on a gazillion websites - as exhibits of art, band photos and live music, as elements of design, fashion and lingerie for sale, and simply as pictures of people. Additionally, i've been dubbed "the King of Halloween" in Lesley Bannatyne's "Halloween Nation". I've also modeled alt fashion and art a bit myself and have been used as a study for some published fantasy illustrations. I've released remixes commercially with Psyche Corporation, Angelspit, Hardcore Pong and U Project, and my original single "Could It Be" held top ten slots on the Myspace Independent Artist charts during the summer of 2006.
