I like being different, I can’t help it. And as I felt fear of becoming a doctor, I found
myself with the world of lights and cameras. Since that moment I haven’t stopped to
capture important moments for me and others, always with the same instrument, sight.

15 years ago I took Mariana, my first camera and almost in an autodidactic way, and
with the only advice of Carlos Guido, I have looked over streets, offices, studios,
abstracting from reality instants, landscapes, faces, and feelings.

I don’t care too much about the country or the city, if I can photograph the algarabia of
a carnival, the carefulness of the chefs Ferrara Adrià and Rene Redzepi, or to tear off a
grimace to the Architect Teodoro Gonzalez de Leon, the creator of The Contemporary
Art university Museum (MUAC). Everything to avoid getting bored with the routine.

I have worked in Reforma newspaper during the last 6 years, making photos of gastronomy,
architecture, fashion, portraits, travels, life & style among others.
Besides of being an observer, I like antiques, I feel relaxed when cooking or riding a
bike; I always travel with a backpack and I love the smell of wet soil.
