My name is Kristen, or Kris as I hope you will come to know me, and I am an editorial photographer who just moved to Lenexa, KS. I specialize in fashion portraits and creative shoots but I am also available for other work upon request.

On TFP Shoots: For now I am trying to avoid trade shoots. If you have a crazy, edgy theme or concept you want to try, or are willing to be a part of one, I may be willing to make an exception on a case by case basis. However I do ask that you are willing to pay if you want something like portfolio building shots, headshots, family shoots, or senior portraits. This is not only my passion: it's also my job. So unless it's an editorial concept that can add to my port in a radical way, I don't have all the time in the world to spare.

I do not do full or partial nude shoots, or shoots that are overly provocative or revealing. Keep it classy. I also offer constructive portfolio critiques for serious aspiring models. Just ask!

For 99% of my shoots, I am the "whole team". Concept, makeup, hair, styling and wardrobe generally fall within my domain, or yours as the model. If you have a wardrobe stylist, hair stylist, or MUA willing to work with us, I would be more than happy to work with them.

I have a zero-tolerance policy for flaky models. If we set up a shoot and you don't show up without giving me a reasonable heads-up, that's the end of it. Don't expect a reschedule.
