About Me

Also available to work in Nogales, Sierra Vista, Sonoita, Tubac, and Tucson, AZ.  Occasionally get up to the Phoenix area also.  I can be contacted on Twitter at, Facebook at

As a photographer I am looking to broaden my horizons and my photographic eye.  Be advised I take an extremely light touch to editing as I want to get the most out of the camera and model.  To this end I do not own photoshop at this time and I am not big on having my photos retouched.  Models are free to have them retouched afterwards, if they choose.  My shoots are not highly structured.  I tend to start with the concept and work from there and allow it to evolve as it goes.  Love to get input from the model too during a shoot.

I also have a growing list of possible concepts and ideas that I am seeking models and MUA's to work with.  These ideas can be found on my facebook page at

My goal in joining MM is to hopefully find models interested in taking part in my work, and to gain exposure to others in the photography world who can provide information, critiques, and advice based upon their experiences.  I am a geologist by training and have no niche or special focus I want to pursue.  I pursue ideas as they come to me and am willing to photograph anything at anytime just for the opportunity to have the experience and to learn from it.

Models, just to be upfront.  I am not in a position where I can pay for your time.  I wish I was because I know it will greatly limit who I can work with, but that is just the reality of my situation.  I will trade for DVD of all the images captured at the shoot, and all shots that I edit.  I shoot both Canon RAW and JPEG formats at the same time and insist on sharing all the files with those I work with when doing TF.  I have no problem if you decide to edit them afterwards.  I also have no problem if you use them for something else, publication, etc.  I only ask for Photo Credit (but if it becomes say a wildly popular poster that is sold then maybe a small taste of the action would be appreciated).  At no time would I sell any TF photo without first getting the model's express permission to do so.  I also prefer to try to get to know my models before the shoot.  I find that this helps me with coming up ideas for a shoot.  Sometimes I get ideas stuck in my head, such as working with black light reactive body paint, bubbles, and fog, or shower shots using misting units, that I need to find someone willing to participate in.  With that said, I am happy to photograph just about anything you would like to try.  If I accept or extend a Friend Request, it is because I truly would like to work with you.

I have no problems what so ever if you want to bring someone along for a photo shoot.  Whatever makes you comfortable is fine by me.  I do appreciate a heads up if you do want to bring someone.

Additionally, I am willing to provide references from other models I have worked with.  Please feel free to ask.

Currently I am free on weekends for shootings I have a regular job to pay the bills.  If you are interested in working with me, please message me here or contact me on my Facebook page

I also have fourteen years of experience being the official "Unofficial" photographer for my children's middle school and high school cross country and track teams and have over 20,000 photos from running events to my credit.  I have also been hired by to photograph high school cross country and track meets, allowing me to travel to Phoenix and Tucson.
