Born in Sweden, Johan spent much of his childhood in Paris where he discovered his interest for photography.  Moving to Canada in 1981, Johan studied photography at Humber College of Art.  Since graduating he has worked as a commercial photographer, while perusing his own artistic work.  Johan's work has been exhibited throughout North America and Europe and has received international acclaim.  He has also been teaching photography at Humber College for over 15 years and is constantly mastering his craft.   
Classes have included digital start up, lighting classes, location lighting, portrait classes and 4x5 large-format camera.  Johan has also conducted more than a hundred workshops including figure study, high-end fashion, glamour, and location photography.
