My name is [i]Mario Brathwaite[/i]. I am a Washington, DC-based photographer specializing in lifestyle portraiture. In 2009, I turned my creative attention on expanding into the realms of wedding and fashion photography.

The main reason why I joined MM is to build out my professional portfolio with bold, energetic and fun casual and lifestyle images and wedding images. Another reason is to expand the skills needed to bring my artistic vision to life. I fully expect that expanding my skill set will lead me to create images unrelated to portraits, wedding or fashion.

[b]Expectations from MM[/b]
I want to collaborate with exciting, vibrant and talented professionals to make compelling images that tell impactful stories. I expect to deal with professionals and to be treated as a professional.

My images definitely have a touch of fashion magazine in them. I think that it's my graphic design background showing its influence.

[i]Personal[/i]
I'm an easy going, laid-back professional. Life has enough unnecessary drama in it, so I make sure that my photo shoots don't. If you come to a shoot with the same attitude, we will get along fine.

[b]Escorts[/b]
If it makes my models more comfortable, I'm fine with escorts, chaperones, bodyguards, what-have-yous tagging along on shoots. A comfortable model is a more photogenic model.

The only requirement is that the escort does not interfere with the shoot. They must be unobtrusive. If they can do that, they are welcome. But they may be put to work if a voice-activated lightstand as needed.
