I’m mostly a photographer of people.  Landscapes and objects are good too, but people are endlessly fascinating, expressive and surprising.  If they feel safe they’ll tell stories in front of a camera that they might be uncomfortable sharing elsewhere.  They’ll go to the edges of their behavior and allow themselves to be wonderfully vulnerable and human, and the camera is like an electrically charged conduit, receiving and amplifying their message.
I’m fortunate to shoot a lot of interesting, beautiful people.  I’m grateful for the contributions they’ve made to my life, even beyond the photographs we’ve created together.  They’ve been fun, profound, crazy, sexy, cool and very real.
