My first paintings date from 1972.
My photography goes back to the black and white era.

Over the years I have painted and photographed a lot of subjects. Today I am trying to direct both my photography and painting towards things of interest to women.

For many years I used a camera only for gathering material for painting. I am as much a photographer as a painter although I still lean to the painter side. All of my work is directed at art. I don't do weddings, family gatherings or related events unless the end product is a painting. There is never any charge to anyone I photograph or paint. It won't cost anything to work with me.

I paint from photographs so the long tedious hours of posing that was usual a few years ago are not required anymore. One hour shoots are normal. Most shoots are done in my studio and the resulting images are transferred to various settings using the old fashioned way with brush and paint.

In addition to my work as a photographer/Painter I am also available to teach painting classes either in my studio in Marietta or anywhere in the Marietta area where five or more interested people can be brought together.

I have a lot of skills to share and it will only cost your time.
