This year I'm working on expending my own capabilities with regards to what I can do with photography - and to capture that artistic moment when taken an individuals photograph...
Interested (and limited experience in) studio work utilizing speed lights, as well as on location model photography.
My preferred directional style is not to instruct a model what to do, but to inspire by evoking an emotion. i.e. for a ballerina I might ask "You are auditioning for the Bolshoi, how will you impress the judges..", or "your rival got the lead, show me how that feels"... I find this gives results I like and the model enjoys the shoot..
