About Me

Welcome to Marietta. About 35 minutes outside of Atlanta. I grew up with my dad taking pictures and experiencing life as an artist the South. I’m also into hip-hop and video production, but as of late the I’ve been focusing on consist of my pictures.
One day my friends and I left taking pictures in a old movie theater, and were stopped for suspicion of breaking in a car. What I think really gave the officers motive to pull their car right in front of us was that we were all minorities. Ed and Moon jokingly said, “If we were all Black, then we would’ve been fucked.” We would have been taken downtown for interrogation almost instantly. Anyone else would have been disgusted by the humor, but I knew where they were coming from. And it’s true.
I was stopped a week earlier for taking pictures outside my house. It seems being a Black photographer or an artist of any kind becomes difficult when you’re policed for polishing your technique. Many of us get harassed for creatively living our lives, but this is what we love, so we continue to pursuit society’s most abhorred ideas: dynamic elevation of consciousness through a subtle medium.
