Hello, my name is David. I first learnt photography while I was at college using a 35mm camera and developing photos in the darkroom. During this time, I became interested in black and white, due to the contrast and interplay between light and shadow. As a natural progression, I then went onto digital photography.  I believe a photograph can capture a moment that can be lost in time forever.

I do not have an over reliance on heavy post photo retouching and manipulation. However, a picture that has been heavily artistically manipulated can be a work of art.

I have worked with many models and people including Charlotte Holmes who was a Finalist for Britain's Next Top Model 2010 and then she went on to represent England in the Miss World competition by becoming Miss England 2012.  I have worked with Lisa Ann Hillman who was a finalist from Britain's Next Top Model 2009. On a shoot, I retain both a professional attitude and I make sure the model is at ease.

I was a Plymouth Calendar Girls photographer, I carried out the photography at various charity events. I was a photographer for a local Help For Heroes charity calendar 2012 where I was responsible for the photos for the August and October months. I was the behind the scenes photographer for South West's Top Model and an official event photographer for Dolly Rocker 2011 (Miss Alternative Cornwall).

In 2012, I was one of the photographers involved in a charity modelling competition called England's Top Model 2012. The photoshoot day was held at Sailors Nightclub, Newquay and I carried out the fashion shoot and twenty models were involved. The final was held at 55 Club, New Oxford Street, London on June 2012 and I was the event photographer for the night.

I also carried out a photoshoot for the June month of the Alternative Calendar Girls Devon and Cornwall (ACDC) 2013 Calendar and I was behind the scenes and event photographer on the Launch Night, which was held at Walkabout Newquay. It was a very busy night.
