**Non-negotiable for models, modeling collaborators and anyone else who will be in pictures for my use: you MUST bring 2 pieces of current, government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, etc.) to the first shoot, or no pay, no pictures, and I'm gone. Not 1 piece of photo ID and an excuse. Not 13 pieces of outdated or non-photo ID, not your expert assessment of what I actually need, and not your library card with a note from your Mom.**

Back to being based in (and mobile throughout) Southern California, USA. I’m embarrassingly far behind in editing and delivering images. Prioritizing that at the moment, but up for doing a bit of local shooting as opportunity presents.

My visual aesthetic for photography (and some of my video) is influenced most strongly by comics, particularly by artists like Bechdel, Belasco, Coop, Crumb, C. C. Road, G.B. Jones & Sparrow. Over time, my work is moving closer to *becoming* comics. I'm not a big believer in clear distinctions between categories of image production (particularly binarism around "art" vs "porn"), in part because they are enormously subjective labels and in part because they are most often invoked to designate stuff we like and understand as more valuable than stuff we don't. Much of what I do glories in the (well-lubricated, joyous) interpenetration of worlds that are often portrayed as separate.

Currently I'm shooting the last few images for a smutty, fetish-focused bookwork in which photographic images will likely be altered & drawn upon toward a comic-book look. These will be short, simple, often explicitly sexual nude or mostly-nude shoots. Groups, couples, unique bodies and people of color particularly welcome. Your use of images we make together or my generation of additional content for your own purposes negotiable *in advance of shooting.* Feel free to suggest additional models of any gender who enjoy being nekkid with you. I'd also welcome suggestions of or access to interesting spaces. A classroom? An office? A hospital room?

As a member of various arts, queer, kink, activist-ish, sex work and sex-positive communities for most of my life, part of what I have to offer models and clients is a planning/shooting experience grounded in a creative, compassionate, politically engaged, consent-aware and cheerfully perverse ethos. MODELS: [I pay you or trade your modeling time for my creative services like video, photography, copies of pix I've edited, etc., I own the finished work.] People of all genders, ability levels, body types and backgrounds welcome. Current personal projects lean toward explicit, overtly sexual imagery and/or heavily messed-with, collaged and drawn-upon photos. I generally prefer to work in blocks of 2 or 3 hours long, and I usually move through a fair number of setups and mini-scenes in that time. This makes shooting with me intense and sometimes exhausting. I like to think it also makes for a lot of varied, quality output from each shoot.

If you're seeking unique, hot, funny, intense, well-crafted pictures and a relaxed, respectful interaction, drop me a line. I welcome collaborative processes, listen well, give very clear direction and particularly enjoy work that offers conceptual or technical challenges.

How explicit or sexual clients' images get is entirely up to you. My emphasis here on smutty content does not make me unwilling or unqualified to shoot in other genres.

Part of what I bring to the production side of the job is a very experienced eye, a storyteller's approach to image composition and a familiarity with many of the markets/audiences for which your images may be destined. To post-production I bring 20+ years of experience with advanced digital image creation/editing.

Expert color correction, cropping and image retouching are part of the standard package. Retouching for me is about intensifying light & color, making good makeup, costuming and props look even better, disappearing blemishes, emphasizing foreground, simplifying background, removing a tattoo or two if you ask in advance and making already shiny images shine more. More complex image alteration tasks (replacing an entire background, compositing multiple images, etc.) welcome at an additional fee subject to some conditions:

I'm not a fan of doing Photoshop work that would be major cosmetic plastic surgery if it were happening in the real world. Just because I *can* make somebody appear dramatically younger, thinner, etc., doesn't mean I think it's usually a good idea to make those changes. My $100+ per image additional charge for extreme vanity photo alterations of this nature reflects both the level of quality I offer and my bias against doing so in most cases. (Alternately, significant alterations that give you tentacles, tattoos, an extra nipple or otherwise interesting additions I will offer *deep* discounts on.)

Further charges may apply for longer shoots, specialized equipment, travel or other costs. For new clients or any client booking requiring an hour or more of travel I require a non-refundable deposit of $100 at the time of scheduling.

For the sake of clarity: I look elsewhere for dates. I won't attempt to negotiate anything extra midway through our shoot; won't push your stated limits or otherwise get weird. Making very sexually charged work requires better boundaries than average; means being particularly aware of manifesting care & consent in working relationships. I trust you to be similarly cautious & respectful.
