About Me

I am the Artistic Director at The Chicago Actors Studio when I coach, direct and produce. I also own Complete Video Services and Film Production Company and The Screen Actors Bootcamp. I work steady as an actor, myself. I''m well trained and studied around the globe to include with Ted Liss for 5 1/2 years, Michael Shurtcleff and The Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts in London (RADA). And yep, Shakespeare. Also have much modeling experience. Mostly industrial modeling. (see credits section). At the time I set up this profile up, I was shooting on a TV series called "The Green Hornet" where I have a running featured role as the main mobster character , "Magiani", An up-date? Finished shooting on a full feature entitled, Blood On The Plain" as another main character role of "Cowboy Dan". It's one of those cowboys and aliens films. Cowboy Dan's character is similar to Daniel Day-Lewis's character in "There Will Be Blood", and now on a 50mil budgeted full feature "Ride 2 Saigons" in the title role. A film addressing post Viet Nam stress syndrome with three bikers that go back there for some sense of closure.

As an artist I am open to all areas of the performing arts, such as stage, screen, commercials, industrial training films, trade shows, voice-overs and yes, as this site is geared towards, modeling. Certainly not high fashion but as I mentioned, industrial modeling, such as billboards, catalogues, industrial pamphlets, live trade show hosting , etc.

I know what to do when the camera and lights turn on, Very directable and creative, able to interpret to a performance as what a director, producer or photographer may require. Although a director myself, when I am working with you as an actor, you are the boss, I'm there to serve whatever needs you require. You'll find it's plus, as an actor, being an accomplished director as well. There would be a stronger sense of what you would need to make the scene work. I have also won a "Telly" and a "Silver Hugo" award.

I find this site very interesting and thought I'd give it a try. Don't be shy to call 773-909-6255, I have a very generous nature of both my talents and other artistic resources. I know what it was like to have this hole in your soul that needs to be filled, and for that matter, if you are a true artist, it'll probably never be completely satisfied, for the need to grow and experience all the wonders this biz and what life has to offer, would be never ending.

Finally: I'm here on this site, to not only further indulge myself in the passion that moves my spirit as a performing artist, but also, possibly align myself with new talent for future projects that I may be involved in as a director and producer.

Oops! Oh yes, I am also an accomplished vocalist that has traveled all over the globe doing concerts in Hawaii, Japan, China, Korea , etc. Opening up for the Jacksons, Donna Summers, New Christy Minstrels, Frank Sinatra Jr. , etc.

You are invited to stop down at my studio (CAS 2040 N. Elston Ave Chicago, IL), any Mon, Wed. evening 7p-10p or Sat Afternoon 1p-5p, to introduce yourself. No appointment necessary. Just walk right in. Time permitting, we may also turn on the cams to see what you have.

Wishing much success and happiness to you all in 2013 and looking forward to working with many of you out there.
