Dwight Samuels was raised in New York City, he moved to Los Angeles in the early 1990’s. In the last ten years he has traveled extensively capturing images in over 35 countries.
Since finishing his education Dwight’s focus was on the moving image. In 1994 he joined one of Los Angeles’s top post-production companies and was trained in all aspects of digital editing and visual effects. He went on to start his own production company producing music videos and supplying high end HD video Cameras to large-scale movies, commercials, music videos, and large scale music events.

In Los Angeles Dwight worked for various film, and television post-production companies culminating with three years at visual effects studio: AmpFilm works which produces HD Content and effects for major motion pictures.
During regular trips to Europe and Asia he refined his style and focused his interest on capturing moving images of environmental, architectural, travel, and fashion portraits.
In 2004 Dwight created a Production Company to perfect his cinematography skills,  this company has gained a large international following, and praise from many of his peers.

His cinematography, and photographic work has been truly diverse over the years and he has donated his photographic talent and work to charities in the US, Europe, and Asia. However, Dwight keeps returning to his true love, which has  always been fashion, and beauty photography. This is where Model Mayhem can help with its vast contact list.

Dwight’s talent includes his ability to make his subjects feel comfortable as well as capture uninhibited candid images that show real emotion, and portray the passion for his work. This dedication has captured attention from viewers worldwide.
