Headshots are my specialty, but I enjoy creating magic in all forms. A good photoshoot is all about the communication and understanding between the photographer and the model, and my instinct for the captured image is what I am passionate about. Most of my shots posted here are with their natural crop and unretouched, save a few.

If you like being in front of the camera just to be in front of the camera and/or you know you have the talent to get that next great shot with a good photog, let's shoot. I enjoy the creative process in all forms, and photography, to me, is capturing that next great image where you weren't expecting to find it. Be it a model, a location, a shade of light, or a hint of an expression on the face. I love the process of finding it and I feel blessed to be good at it.

I'm very professional, articulate, earnest and easy-going. I will look you in the eyes when we speak. The first time I went behind the gates at Paramount Studios here in L.A., I was 14. After I was done with school, I eventually did more work for Paramount but less on-set and more technical/creative support.

Model Mayhem has a lot of everything on it and it's great - The fashion, sub-cultures, artistic nudes, and the straight-out creativity. I love it all. But the cornerstone of every model portfolio is a good headshot.

Why do I like doing headshots? Because I have that unique talent as a photographer to bring out the best in who I am working with on our very first shoot together. Headshots are mainly the camera, the face, the light, and the photographer. Simple, potent, very real. And while I may be directing the shoot, I manage a very comfortable, open, relaxed approach to the creative process. I am smart that way and it helps me find that shot. Since my late teens people have said it's easy to relax around me for some reason. Who knew it would make for a good headshot?! I mostly did landscapes More than a few of the models/talent I've worked with have independently shared this about me and said a two hour shoot seemed to go Really fast but they never felt rushed. I'm very thankful for those kudos the most.

I am always looking to add to my headshot portfolio and I am offering my services and proven skill to all of the beautiful people on MM local to Hollywood, at a very gracious discount. I also have talented MakeUpArtists available if you do not have your own and always looking to work with new MUAs and Stylists.

I like working with different equipment, but I am mostly shooting digital these days with natural light. I have a great, convenient location to shoot during the day and mostly do shoots with locals who need regular headshots done quickly. At least 120 exposures burned to CD after a quick edit for useless exposures. And by night I play bass in a local band, but that's another web site.

As an artist, I am very open minded and enjoy exchanging ideas.
