Hello,, Mayhem...
My name is Jason Zarelli,, Hairdresser/Salon owner. And creative director for Zarelli & Company Hairdressing. With over 20+ years in this great industry, my experience is very broad. My father was a hairdresser, so i grew up in it. I've had the privilege through the years, to work in the very best salons in this city, and understudy from the best.. I've opened 3 salons of my own. And I am currently working in and developing my present creation, a very unique urban salon, with a "Salounge" component. (Salounge being a hairdressing & photographic workshop, used for photo shoots, educational workshops, group shoots and such, its also an event/meeting location as well as social emporium. Just an all around fun place to be.)
The highlight of my career has been being a Regional Artistic Director, for Toni & Guy Hairdressing/Tigi Linea, for over 14 yrs. (ah, yeah, we make Bed Head)
As Art Director, I have worked on many photo shoots, runway shows, and platform stage presentations doing shows in and outside of the industry. (listed below will be the locations I have worked in, and also the models, photographers and mua's I have worked with will be listed)
I'm getting involved with Mayhem now, because in developing my new business I've worked on many shoots recently, with some very talented people and made some amazing friends in the process. Hair and photography are my passions. I make my living doing hair and the photography is my fun. Looking to continue working on photo-shoots, and bridge back into shooting for myself as well.
