My name is James Groeling and welcome to my page.

Through modeling I have found another artistic outlet, one that allows me to work with a variety of talented people, each person leaving me charged and invigorated by their own creative energy. This career allows me to work with an artist to not only create the visuals they have in their mind which they need someone to perform so they may capture, but it also allows me to integrate my own imagination and artistic sensibilities by using my body as the medium to their art.

To me the whole process can transcend a mere photograph and leave the viewer of the final piece with an emotional reaction that they take away from their experience, and each person reacts differently. This to me is but one of the many true beauties of art.

~In the briefest sense, I started my career as a figure model for art classes in late 2004 to early 2005. This quickly expanded into working for a number of private art groups and I was fortunate enough to meet many artists who were interested in private modeling sessions.

~Starting in 2006 I branched into fine art photography, allowing me to work with a number of respected artists in New York city, and the surrounding areas.

~By late 2006, in addition to fine art photography I had also started pursuing interest in fashion imagery as well as sensual art captured on film
