Don't bring a partner (boyfriend). I am all for being safe. So tell someone where you are going. Google my business, Google my name. Next contact any of the models that appear in my portfolio.
If you have to, bring a friend or bring the makeup artist along. Just don't bring your partner, they get bored, I feel like I have to entertain them, make small talk. Basically, they kill creativity. When we shoot I want to focus on you, get a vibe going, get creative and not worry if your boyfriend thinks what we do is weird.
