Hello, I am Joseph Merrell owner of Joseph Merrell Photography. I thoroughly enjoy capturing ordinary moments and events and making them extraordinary lifelong memories. Joseph Merrell Photography was created in 2006 and has continued to grow with great success and recognition from past clients and people seeing my work.
With dramatic and mood setting photography, I focus on creativity and bringing clients something innovative and spectacular. I feel flat lighting and certain types of props take away from the authenticity of images. When people view my work, I want them to see the subject’s thoughts, feelings, etc. If a picture is truly worth a thousand words, I want the correct and appropriate verbiage captured in each photograph. I am willing and capable of capturing basic shots, but I prefer unique portraiture over the average image.
I have several years experience with image enhancing software that allows me to do more with your images and provide the best quality with a variety of looks. I have studied the contextual information on photography, but much of the knowledge I possess come from trial and error; shooting as much as I can as often as I can.
My goal is to provide my clients with an unforgettable experience.
