About Me

Lisa P. Jones is a New York based, MAC certified Makeup Artist and licensed cosmetologist.  She attended Long Island Beauty School, and also the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she earned a degree in fashion design & pattern making.  Lisa’s keen eye for detail and precision has afforded her over a decade-long career as a technical designer, which is a prime asset in her work as a makeup artist.

Known for her versatility and range of stylistic approach from classic to avant garde, Lisa truly delights in diversity, which has allowed her to work across all genres of media including:  television, film, editorial, and runway.  Some of her notable work has been seen in music videos for artists such as Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Common, in magazines such as Essence and Vogue Bambini, and on the runways of New York’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, among many more.  She has also worked directly with celebrity clients such as talk show host, Wendy Williams, and models, Melyssa Ford and Vida Guerra.

“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” – Audrey Hepburn
