Photography for me, began to take on meaning at the early age of 15 while using a handmade pinhole camera in 1985. Somehow, even then, I always knew it would become a life long passion.

In the early days, I eagerly learned to harness the power of film the "old fashion way". Back then I was using a primitive SLR Pentax, but shortly there after, I upgraded to a Nikon N-2000 SLR and experimented with all sorts of 35mm film, lenses, lighting techniques, subject matter, etc. I was definitely hooked....and I undoubtedly realized I needed to pursue a career in the visual arts.

I hold a BFA - 1992, in Graphic Design & Communications; with a minor in Photography, from Ringling School of Art & Design. I consider myself lucky because I was privy to conventional methods and learned the true principles of design without the influence of computers. Of course, since then, I have mastered most field related graphic and photography software applications. I retouch all my own pictures using Photoshop. I can also create comp cards and get great printing prices, for those of you who need one.

Most recently, I dabbled with cinematography, and completed an intensive workshop in film making at "The New York Film Academy". There, I had the opportunity to write, produce, and direct four short films using a 16mm Arriflex. I hope and aspire to one day produce short dramatic films about socially controversial matters that permeate and dictate the moralistic fabric of every society around the world.

In all considerations, I ONLY want to photograph models that take their craft seriously. I am searching for youthful & bright-eyed aspiring models that understand hard work and perseverance pays off.
