I was doing modeling on an occasional basis up until 2013, but took a break to finish my education. A last minute call in early 2017 from a fashion show that needed more models ASAP dragged me back in and reminded me how much I love the work, and so here I am again!

I live in the Wellington/Guelph area and it's a little harder for me to get into Toronto—I prefer to rely on public transit, and the bus ride between Guelph and Toronto is 3-4 hours—but I'm willing to do it for a good opportunity. For a really good opportunity, I can usually obtain access to a car.

Mostly, I just love the process of transforming and seeing the amazing results! I love working with wigs, both from my own collection and otherwise; I especially like showing off interesting fashion lines, such as my work with corsets and wedding dresses. Costuming is my true passion! A modeling friend of mine recently introduced me to mermaiding and underwater photography, and that's been a blast. I'm open to most anything!

My hard limit is nude modeling. I have nothing against it as a beautiful form of art, but for me personally, my family enthusiastically follows my modeling. So my policy is simply: I won't do something that would cause embarrassment if my grandma saw. This is a firm limit for me—please respect that.

What I want from anyone looking to work with me is a clear, concise idea of what is expected from me. Am I bringing my own clothes, doing my own make-up and hair? What, exactly, is the shoot about? What will I be expected to do? How long will it take, and am I getting any help with transportation? I'm open to creative improvisation and such, of course, but I've had enough surprises sprung on me after getting only a vague idea of what I was going to do that I prefer as much detail as possible going in. When preparing, the amount of detail I want from whatever organizer I'm working with can definitely seem excessive; my questions are endless and probably sometimes annoying... but the result is that I show up PREPARED FOR ANYTHING. My typical policy is that it's better to bring something and not use it than need something and not have it. My hyper-focus on details has in the past prevented a lot of misunderstandings that would have occurred if I hadn't asked for further clarification, so please have patience with me and know I'm always working towards a successful collaboration that everyone can be pleased with.

As for myself, I prefer photography shoots, but I've done fashion shows and I greatly enjoy those too. I can do acting and video work—a psychology degree does lend itself well to acting a part—though while I'm good at speaking roles, I'm far more comfortable following a photographer or film maker's directions to look this way, lift my hand, strike a pose, etc etc.
