Things have gone a little crazy the past few months. After my hiatus, I have landed back at my roots of artistic photography. There will be a name change shortly (Matthew J Photography) as the pieces begin to materialize and be set. Many shoots are being planned, and this years theme is "Emotions and Elements" and is a study showing the symbiotic relationship between the 4 earth elements (earth, water, wind, fire) and emotions. How one helps amplify the other and enhances the other. It will be a combination of studio and location shoots and utilizing various styles of both photography and print media to accomplish. The goal of this series is gallery work and a potential show next spring as a culmination of the series. If you would like to be a part of this series, please let me know and I will work with you to see how your vision and mine can combine to create some great pieces. This is not the normal shoot. This is the next level.

I am always looking for MUA's and hair stylists as well to assist with the shoots, both paid and TF*. I always have several concepts on the back burner and you never know when the right designer will step in and provide the missing piece!

The object is to have fun, to create, to smile, and to enjoy ourselves. You will never hear me get upset or that you "are ruining my shot." Some of my favorite shots are ones that didn't go anywhere near as planned.
