My primary reason for being here is to hook up with models and photographers who might need retouching services.


I have a strong photography background and first learned retouching on actual prints back in the "good old film days". My tools were a brush and either spot tone for B&W or dyes for color and Marshall Oils for hand tinting . Now that we are in the digital age, my tools for retouching are a computer and Photoshop (since 2001) but the basics are still the same.

I especially enjoy doing beauty retouching. Special effects are fun but my primary goal is to make my subject look as good as possible first while keeping it "real". (Even babies have texture in their skin.)
