First off, as an artist, I find it hard to put a price tag on things, so in lieu of of that, and in an effort to stay humble, I consider what I do with my camera to be a service, and not an occupation. This philosophy allows me to give back to the community, and to weed out any negotiation that puts the dollar before the artwork. So in turn, I am willing to trade other artists digital copies of my photographs for their time -Same Day-. As for commission work, i.e. weddings events, commercial stuff... It can be done, and has been done before, but only after building a trusted relationship first.

I don't use Photoshop or any enhancements, so what you see is what you get. This is how I can offer same day photos, and none of the images in my portfolio here are altered in any way.

I'd say my specialty would be "portfolio building" simply because that's what I'm currently working on for myself. There's no reason why everyone on here shouldn't have at least 1 decent, and current picture that they can be proud to share -and- if you have potential and your motivated... You shouldn't hafta pay a fortune to add value to your body of work, but I digress.

I'm from the Bay, and I'm willing to travel to any city that BART does. My personality has often been described as eccentric, and my biggest weakness is probably social awkwardness. Other skills I lack are organization, and communication. Sadly because if this, I have missed out on many opportunities to work with many great people. Without those faults though, I would less likely choose photographs to express my thoughts and stuff. Ironically, at times, I feel that I may be more nervous than than the one putting themselves out there to have their picture taken... But ultimately, I thrive to be transparent.

My first choice of genre would probably be editorial, and my first wardrobe choice is always swimwear. I'm inclined to shoot outdoors, or with organic lighting. Occasionally, I have been known to travel with other artists... (Hair stylists, fashion experts, makeup artists, and the like, are all welcome.) Although these criteria present certain challenges that expedite the learning process, and push all involved into their unrealized level of capability. Working with a team can be gratifying and -when executed- brings a great sense of accomplishment... And on the other hand sometimes I find that "too many hands in the pot" can take away from the affinity and simple genuineness that certain photographs display. And sadly, it is hard to rely on all members of a larger team to commit to an idea100%. Therefore I steer away from larger stylized shoots these days unless it's a solid concept and familiar team.

Though I may think that they are, my ideas aren't always the best, so if there's something you want to add to your portfolio, and you've done your research, and your prepared, let me know what it is and 8 times out of 10, I can deliver something respectable, engaging, and crisp, ready for upload.

In addition, photography, unfortunately, this is not my bread and butter. So I apologize if I don't respond to messages and such. I visit this site less frequently these days but I do still enjoy snapping around when/if I have the time.
