Creating art is the best way I've found to spend my time. Thus, I was lucky to find photography... it is a great way to play all day and pay the bills. Adding to the inherent fun are all the cool people in this field. All around this photography stuff it is a pretty sweet deal.
As a rule I use as little photo-manipuation as possible. I'll clean up a blemish, but I don't make digital backgrounds. All of the conceptual art shots are basically straight out of the camera.
After each shoot, wedding, new concept, lighting experiment, successful attempt, it feels as if I've achieved a goal. Thankfully, this art form offers so many possibilities there is a limitless amount of goals to score as you learn. I just want to get better, learn and work with people and make some (insert your adjective here) imagery. And that is why I'm here.
About the past... I owe my skill set to the Air Force, and my photomentors Tom Hopkins, Sean Kerenan, Mark Rockwood (Sensai), Don Hutchinson and Mike Ross. Their combined influence has help shape my ability to shoot in a wide variety of circumstances.
Presently I am working with Uber Dami (mm#5648) on a variety of new, exciting projects. I look forward to collaborating with others making art happen.
