Not booking, no longer modeling-- I got very tired of being disrespected in my work modeling, and unfortunately constant disrespect lead me to internalize that-- I hope any one- photographer or model who reads this- remembers life is too short and too beautiful to lose it in our sleepy, unconscious desires, fears and traumas and acting without deeply contemplating how we want to be loved, or why we want people to think we are beautiful or the best at something. I think this industry is ridden with sadness, darkness and illness.
I am sad I didn't get to work with more artists and get to be a part of making more art, and that I spent so much time being hired by over-sexed, insecure men who wanted to see me naked and say things to me that they would never say to their daughters, mothers or wives.
