About Me

My name is Brian and I am a professional photographer based in Louisville, KY.

I went on quite a long journey in photography before finding my place in boudoir. From studio portraits to weddings to live events, I ran the gamut until I accidentally came across a series of videos by Michael Sasser who explained both the art and the business of running a boudoir studio. I was hooked and immediately knew that was where I was going to focus my attention. I have fallen in love with the beauty, simplicity, and the intimacy that this style of photography affords both me as an artist, and the person in front of the camera.

When I am not doing client work, I tend to explore dance photography and figure study work. I come from a theater and dance background and I love to create images that focus on physical expression and body form that attempt to communicate stories to the viewer. I am endlessly fascinated by the power and beauty of the human body, and making art based on that notion has existed for thousands of years.

Another avenue that I pursue is working with models who need to round out their portfolio (or in some cases start their portfolio) with professional and artistic material that show off their more intimate side. I love this work (sometimes more than client work, if I’m being honest) because models understand movement and posing more than the average person does. It’s great to have a common language with the model right from the start. While I would love to provide the service for free to all who need it, this is something that I do charge for. My rates are super reasonable, and I’m happy to work with anyone based on what they need; just a few shots or an entire portfolio collection.  If you’re interested, please message me here and I will tailor my rates to suit your needs.

One fussy note: it has been quite some time since I needed to hire a model. If you are spamming out travel notices, please skip me. I have more than enough portfolio pieces. I have put many thousands of dollars into the model/photographer ecosystem and I feel comfortable enough to pick and choose the projects I work on outside of paid work. I am very happy to discuss TFP shoots with anyone. I love collaborative art and having that discussion feeds my creative side immeasurably.

That being said, there are several genres that I would like to explore more sometime soon:
-urban decay potraits
-dance in an urban/downtown setting
-ballet vs. urban decay
-outdoor/forest nudes
-creek/stream nudes
-musicians and their instruments
-husband/wife or man/woman portraits

If any of these strike your fancy, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Let’s talk it over!

Thanks for taking the time to read through all of this. Thanks for stopping by. I hope to hear from you. I love being part of this community, and I look forward to many many more projects in the future!

All the best to you,
Brian

"Brian was my first shoot on MM and I was incredibly lucky to have the chance to work with such a kind, professional and talented person. He made sure I was comfortable the whole time and I would suggest him to all models! I look forward to working together again." Read less
