About Me

This is a "small" Independent Studio located in the heart of the Mid-South.

We currently produce numerous forms of compositions in a range of subjects, and in multiple forms of media, from accepted standard subject forms, too, mature material, content and art.

In the past: I started studies in everything Architecture (my first love), then changed directions and concentrated more on a course of Art, and in Art History; specifically, Art and Architectural History-Prehistoric to the Renaissance.

Since then, I have concentrated my area of study in Drawing and Painting, continuing as well with Sculpture, Casting, and . . . Stained-Glass.

Primary interest at this time is in painting; I enjoy the bright, clean, heavy bodied Acrylics, the "magical" creations accomplished in Oils, but my favorite will forever be, the "subtle and moody" Watercolors, which I am constantly trying to perfect, and expand all of the techniques that are possible.

"I follow my heart, wherever my "Art" will lead" . . . (strange . . . go figure?).

A "decent" photographer from years ago, I have returned to this field of Art and creation. Now I work in digital and film photography, and in video format as well, though, I still stockpile the B&W film The "raw", "edgy" strength and emotion of this complex monochrome beauty is classical.

My primary focus in Photography lies specifically in my home-grown "Active Imagination Series" (standard), with its many colorful, graphic, and multiple themes, as well as in the darker realm(s) of "Fetish Art" (mature).

I continue to work in my selected and specific " specialty" area of interests in both my photography and my creative artwork. These include my chosen Wildlife, Landscape, Rodeo (limited), Motorsports (limited), Aviation (limited), and "Night Life" fields.

I travel yearly into the Northern Rocky Mountain States and the Pacific Northwest, with many stops along the way.

Media and formats produced here include:
Pencil, Color Pencil, Pen & Ink, Charcoal, Acrylics, Oil, Watercolors, Clay, Resins and Metals (cast), Mosaic and Stained-glass, Digital and Film Photography, and Digital Videography.
