PREGNANT: Women as vessels and garden of life - Interested in creating a rich and sensual study of maternity in my style of shadow and light imagery. Would be thrilled to work with someone newly pregnant to explore the evolution and development of their body.

EPIC: Mythological narratives. Little to no body art (concealable). No distinct tan lines. Fancy yourself as a classic Greek hero, god, goddess - all body types/ages sought.

SEXUAL LIBERTIES: Body art & costuming encouraged but not required. Comfortable expressing your sexual uniqueness with your own established partners (or alone).

ABOUT THE SERIES:
EPIC: 1999-PRESENT
From the psychological treatise that was the BASEMENT, I found myself wanting to depict stories on a larger scale - and that addressed sociological premises and examine the archetypes of myth and religion. The setting, a defunct steel mill (of which there seem to be no shortage of here). -Silver gelatin prints.

SEXUAL LIBERTIES: 1999-PRESENT
An ongoing side project that allows me to explore with candor and awe the dark sexual identities of participants who are painted and pierced a bit too much to play a part in "EPIC." I'm really looking for people and their partner(s) who are open to sharing their unique take on acts of love and lust - Silver gelatin prints & Cross processed transparency film printed Fuji Crystal Archive.

PANTHEON: 1995-1999
(Not shown) I shot for a period in a studio setting trying to better understand the collection of characters which first introduced themselves to me in the basement. -Silver gelatin prints.

BASEMENT: circa 1991–1996
A mixture of whimsy and the phantasmagoric. Using the basement as a stage and a metaphor for the Id - I began to explore the dark stories we create for ourselves. The basement is the foundation for your spiritual house. Its a place where you box and store things you don't want to get rid of, but you don't want to keep either (past experiences). Its also a place of shelter you can run to when circumstances are bad outside. However, it isn't a pleasant place. Strange, then, that so many of us choose to remain there. -Silver gelatin prints.
