I like how the emphasis is mostly on the axe, and how well you made it stand out. I also like how you kind of faded the girl out in the picture in comparison.
Nice use of lights and shadows... from far away it almost looks like she was wearing sunglasses(which would have been kind of awesome if she was :> )
The background is good too!
