February 24, 2009 6:09am ~I'm sorry that happened to your dog. I always control mine, because she does have a tendency to not like big dogs or strange people. I do believe my Dachshund would protect me, if ever I needed to be protected. *sigh* I saw a Bull Mastiff, in a pet store recently and so did Gretal, but the Mastiff, looked so sweet, like a gentle giant and since Gretal was undergoing her nail trim, she felt powerless, lol. It was so cute to see her looking at me and not; while I was talking to all the other dogs there getting a grooming. Take care.~
