April 21, 2009 5:24am There's something very painterly about the use of light and the framing in this image. I think the shape of the frame strikes me as odd, but for the most part it works. The light reminds me of a Hopper painting. I like the little details, like the poise of your fingers and that little flap of cloth on your shorts. The sense of emotion and mystery is beautiful.
March 29, 2009 12:43pm Something voyeuristic about this and I really like it. The light quality is fantastic... natural, but still beautifully exposed with great dynamic range.
