The reason is because the light is uniform throughout the photo, yet there are soft shadows the bring identity and soft contrast. You look very relaxed and happy. The wall matches your skin and the background matches your dress. The background is also further away, but identifiable, which is nice. And the foreground wall adds color, texture and detail. I like you dress though. Where did you buy it? I would like to buy if for my gf.
