May 30, 2009 3:52am I particularly like this picture because of the intensity of the look Josh gave the camera, and the overall edginess you get from elements like sweat, body hair and the iris highlights (to accentuate that 'fire in the eyes' look). By the way, if you ever meet Josh in person, when the light hits his eyes a certain way, you'll see that same variation in color, light, shadow. It's quite striking. In processing the photo, I was very tempted to eliminate the scar on the bridge of his nose, however since he's an MMA fighter (and it's the subject of the photo), I thought he should to retain some of his 'character'. I feel it makes the shot even more appealing.
