August 11, 2009 7:58pm There was some colour curve adjustment on this image - I was trying to suggest the look of some of the very earliest Technicolor movies, with decidedly non-linear colour reproduction. Movie-goers were paying for colour, and dammit, they were going to get bright, saturated colour, whether it was correct or not.
I think it gives those old colour movies a very sweet and innocent, playful mood, very soft, glowing and dreamlike.
August 10, 2009 4:12pm There's something almost retro about this image. I'm suddenly thinking about the early 1900s. The color is striking â both your skin and your areolae. Did you apply make-up to them?
