February 20, 2011 12:12pm Gosh I love this...and for me it's really about the details in the colors and textures of the sea and clouds behind him and the quality of the late afternoon light....I mean this a fantastic image of the model himself, he sold the pose and the wardrobe and you made him look fantastic here...but it's those details in the sea and sky behind him that brought back I guess what actors call my "sense memory" of windy, weathered days I've spent at the shore like this...must seem like an odd reaction to this image given that it's actually supposed to be about the young man....but that's the beauty of photography isn't it? When you put something out there, you can never be quite sure how what you create is going to move someone else :) - Pius M.
