There's a haunting sensuality to it that's so evocative- for me it's Sally Manne,the mountains of Virginia, "The Grapes Of Wrath" , the portraits from the 1860s Ken Burns used in his beautiful civil war series, a little old out of the way rural town I recently drove through in upstate new York...I could go on :-)
