March 14, 2012 5:47pm This is an incredible image and, imo, the best in your portfolio. I like the fact that it's darker. The lighting is perfect, as are the hairstyle and makeup. But what makes this image so incredible (as with so many incredible images of women) is the lips and eyes. I like the dark eye shadow and the black cherry (?) lipstick. While black cherry is usuallly associated with Goth/alternative, I've often thought of using black cherry in darker beauty shots. But the three times I asked for it, the MUA didn't have any. (Note to self: Get some black cherry and keep it in my camera bag.) Does lipstick melt easily in the heat?
