March 10, 2010 2:33pm When I first saw the thumbnail I didn't know if this was creative lighting or you'd put in an ultra sound capture. Then I saw the full size. This is an excellent concept, plain and simple. If the mother you presented this to didn't tear up, then I'd be amazed. This is only ruined for me personally because I used to work in the Diagnostic Imaging field and I can't stop looking at the part where the image plane cuts the baby's hand off. Plus, the head is too large and in the wrong orientation for that stage in the pregnancy. However, these are not technical gripes, the image is wonderfully unorthodox and makes me glad you're on the mentor's list.
