August 02, 2021 12:38am Stephen’s scar is on his back. Usually the surgeons remove the kidney laparoscopically via the front abdomen which is less invasive. However in his case, it needed to be removed this way. My scar is on the front lower left of my abdomen. They did not remove my kidneys. So I have three!
