July 19, 2013 8:06pm You have such a large amount of quality work that it's almost impossible to choose one to comment on. I do like this image for it's simplicity, composition and colour. The model's upper body and left arm create a nice diagonal through the frame and the tilted head is a tried and tested portrait technique that works a treat here. The model does have a strong connection with the camera and the lighting is superbly diffused which creates a smooth, creamy skin tone. The nuetral background seperates the model effectively as does the blue hat and top. The black fur accessory really makes the aforementioned skin tone 'pop' out from the screen and it adds a contrasting but complimentary colour dynamic to the image. The image itself has a theatrical, whimsical feel to it - possibly accentuated by the costume and make up. Overall this is a very pleasing image that is both successful from an artistic and technical point of view.
