November 21, 2007 7:32am Wonderful use of layers to create a very effective conceptual piece. The image immediately grabs the viewer's attention -- and then the questions start popping in one's mind. Whenever an image can do those two things, you've got a winner in my book.
August 23, 2007 11:50pm Photos within photos that actually appear deliberate! Also, generally strikingly composed. I'm fond of the various levels of solidity; I like that the fellow's got a shadow, despite being insubstantial, for instance, and even the impression I get that he's the only thin in the room actually *casting* a shadow (I can see he's not, but I like the impression anyhow).
