she's static and stoic...
seemingly captured in such a moment imbedded in a dramatic situation.
the deep dark red as the ground color is spectacular...
the red was the magnet> the hat> the face in that rapid order

So, first.... I LOVE the hat! Even without it the color and the mood are really tense - sensual but a little depressed - which in my idea is also what you were going for. The pose of the model makes it work as well, being distracted, not paying any attention to the viewer.

It adds to the narrative of the photo - which makes the viewer wonder what is going on. What is she thinking, why wearing that, why the color setting...

I love that kind of play with the viewer's emotions, and you achieved that really nicely.
