May 24, 2008 2:02pm My favorite images are those that move me off center. I usually turn away from boys-with-skateboard pictures. But this one is different. In my discordant mind I got the idea this kid had just cut off an old lady in a crosswalk, and she had whipped out her 1929 derringer - kept in her purse for such occasions - and is about to shoot him. But I guess that would be in LA, not Cape Town. Forget Bruce Weber, this is better.
