September 10, 2009 9:02am Wow! What a perfect capture of all of the "down" emotions - loneliness, rejection, vulnerability, and on and on. I started to write that you as the creator of the image project empathy and compassion for your subject, and then I looked at the picture again and realized that the subject is you. I hope that it was merely a photographic exercise and not a reflection of a "dark midnight of the soul."
