* FASHION * GLAMOUR * ART *

Used to shoot a lot of high fashion/runway (don't anymore). Now I'm primarily working on a number of personal projects, adding to my photo library and handling occasional assignments for smaller commercial clients. .

Looking for talented models who might be interested in working together.  I'm primarily looking for female models in ages ranging from late teens to mid 20's. Ethnicity and height aren't all that important, but models should be on the slender side with weight proportional to height (ex: 5'2" +/- 103#, or 5'8" +/- 119#) They should have a collaborative and positive attitude.

Before the pandemic, I was pretty good at coming up with the models that I needed on a trade basis. Now that things are opening up again, I'm doing more paid shoots, particularly with models who have locations available..


IF WE'RE GOING TO SHOOT:

I want shoots to go easy and have fun doing them. No drama, no divas. (Read some of the comments that models have left me to get an idea of how my shoots go.)
* Whenever feasible, I like to have a preshoot meeting at the location of the shoot, if it's a specialty session such as an underwater shoot, or at a local Starbucks/McDs.
* If you want, bring a girl friend (but no boy friends or significant others, they're often too impatient and sometimes too controlling.)
* I don't schedule models that have another shoot scheduled the same day, either before or after (has never worked out well).
* I generally don't work with traveling models since they frequently have several shoots scheduled a day and usually don't have time for a preshoot meeting.
* I try not to book models with changing/flexible work schedules. (They cancel frequently and repeatedly..)
* I don't provide images on paid shoots unless arrangements have been made before hand.


LOCATIONS:

I'm always scouting great locations and trying to find interesting places to shoot. Locations I'm currently looking for include:
* heated private pools/spas/outdoor showers for underwater photography;
* loft, rooftop or other high-rise settings with dynamic urban views;
* Industrial building with graffiti/murals;and
* private residences with interesting natural light (often times locations that people would never think would work actually wind up working real well.)


BACKGROUND:

Older...  Semi-retired. I've taught photography (and modeling, especially the business side of modeling). My background is primarily editorial. contributing to national consumer magazines, trade publications and daily newspapers. I've also done a considerable amount of work for corporate publications (including developing publications for major national clients) and handled commercial assignments.

I was a frequent contributor to major photo magazines, inflight magazines and travel publications.. I also wrote several books on photography. Traveled to almost all the States in the U.S. as well as over 40 countries..
