I am lead photographer and photo editor for an online wine auction based in Napa, and I am currently living in Vallejo. I will still be taking on freelance shoots from time to time, so feel free to ask if you have an interesting project. I travel back to the East Coast a couple of times per year to visit with family in Massachusetts and  New Hampshire, so I may also be able to shoot in these areas if we are planning enough in advance.

After starting my post-high-school studies at Boston University, I received my formal training in photography at the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Northwestern Massachusetts. I have since worked in many facets of the photography industry.

I maintain my profile with ModelMayhem for connections/networking within the industry for paid and selective TFP/TFCD portfolio projects that intrigue me.

I’m always looking for interesting ideas and more specific interpretations of my own, which tend to be very general until I meet with a model. Basically my concepts center around trying to develop an element of conflict/contrast in the photo through both visual and psychological elements. I tend to be a very technically minded photographer, but I feel that this contributes to, rather than detracts from, my creativity.

Yes, there is a self-portrait on my profile of me with a parasol; no, I am not the blonde girl in the cool-toned image.
