Originally a photography company started in 2004, Samowens Digital Images is owned and operated on the island of Oahu, in the beautiful state of Hawaii but now in New Mexico. Samuel Owens, born on Oahu and raised in Western Samoa, started in 2002 with a simple camcorder and digital camera using his own style and creativity to capture the beauty of models throughout the islands. Owens soon found support through Ken Kuroyanagi of A56Kuser Photography who provided him with his first SLR digital camera.






In 2010 Owens entered the world of Digital Filming with the help of Kahu Kalehua Featheran. Along with Ricardo Shima and David Kupono Fong, Owens and Featheran produced OC16's "Hawaii's Wedding Professionals." Owens also launched his music video career with the video of Pegasis Rising's single "Jungle Music," which has sparked rave reviews from local industry professionals.




With the new year Samuel Owens now in Las Cruces New Mexico on a Polynesian project and sharing his creativity with the industry here as well.
