I  work primarily shooting weddings, elopements, and portraits/head shots, and you can view my most recent work at http://www.sarahhoppes.com or http://www.sarahhoppes.wordpress.com.  I also have experience shooting fashion, beauty, performance, and event photography. My primary aesthetic is to create beautiful, classically lit images with a healthy dose of whimsy.

I hold a BA in Commercial Photography, and have been shooting as a freelancer since 2007.

I'm also the co-owner of a multimedia production company (http://www.darkinkpictures.com), and we are always on the lookout for models, make-up artists, and hair stylists for our photo shoots and short films.

RATE INFO

I typically don't do TFP, although I do consider it for jobs with an interesting concept, or with models, MUA, or stylists whose work I admire, and I ask for my equipment transportation costs to be covered.  I can't do TFP in the studio, because I have to pay per hour for its use.  On occasion, I will shoot a project for Dark Ink Pictures as a TFP collaboration, such as this video shoot: http://darkinkpictures.com/justify-my-burger.html

My rates for headshots are $350 for a 3 hour session and $150 for a 1 hour "blogger headshot" session. Editorial and advertising rates vary.
